Small communities. A feed that ends.

Short videos and real conversation in niche communities: post a few lines or a short clip, with no ads and no endless scroll.

Invite-only early access, iPhone first.

How it works

Join the groups you care about, see what's new, and get on with your day.

Communities first

Every post belongs to a community: your dive crew, your neighborhood, your class. You only see the ones you've joined.

Write or record

Post a thought in a few lines, or a video of 60 seconds or less. Members comment and vote.

"You're all caught up"

New posts from your communities, newest first. When you've seen them all, the feed says so and stops.

How creators get paid

Instead of ads, the model is designed so viewers pay a tiny amount for each post they see, a fraction of a cent, and most of it goes to the person who made it.

Where a view's money is meant to go

The rest is planned for hosting, moderation and the people who build feeds.

What counts as a view

A post counts once it's been on your screen for 3 seconds, once per person. Your own posts never count, and there's a daily limit per viewer.

Early access will use practice credits. When credits switch on, everyone starts with $5 in practice credits so we can see how the system works in real communities. They aren't real money and can't be cashed out. Real payouts will come later, only once they're ready.

Moderation by the people in the room

Communities are run by people who know them, not by a distant rules team.

Leads set the rules

Each community has leads who decide what's on topic and hide posts that don't fit.

A member jury for serious cases

Harassment, fraud and other serious problems will go to a jury of members, who decide what happens. The jury is coming in a later update; until then, serious reports come to us.

No ads. No owner.

No one is selling your attention, and the plan is for no company to own the place.

No ads

Nothing in your feed is paid placement, and there's no algorithm tuned to keep you scrolling.

Your posts, your account

It's built on the AT Protocol, Bluesky's open network. You sign in with a Bluesky account, and your posts live in your own account, not locked in ours.

Handed to the community

For now we run it. The commitment is to hand control to the community in stages as it grows, so no company ends up owning it.

Early access

We're opening one community at a time, by invite. Each invite code joins you to one community.

How do I get in?

Leave your email above, or get a code from someone who leads a community. You'll install the app, sign in with Bluesky, and enter your code.

Do I need a Bluesky account?

You can use the one you have, or create one in the app in about a minute.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone only, for now.

Can I join more than one community?

Yes. Each invite code joins one community, so you join another with its own code.

I run a group. Can it have a community?

Yes, that's how we're growing. Leave your email or write to dan@my2cents.app and tell us about your group.

Will I make money?

Not during early access. The money side runs on practice credits while we test it, and real payouts will come later, only once they're ready. We aren't promising any amount.

Does it cost anything?

Early access is free. Once credits switch on, posting will cost a small fee in practice credits.
